Sarah Warren is a much acclaimed London artist, whose multi-skilled output of paintings, jewellery and design work are on show and in collections across the world.

A portrait of a woman. The woman has long brown hair, and is sitting at an easel, carefully painting with a fine brush.Through my years of painting, jewellery-making, and design work, I’ve been lucky beyond belief to have built an exciting career. From starting in my native London and eventually across the globe to galleries, museums, exhibitions, special collections and showings, and even royal palaces.

I’m happily accepting commissions, fuelled with an endless desire to communicate the world I see around me in artistic terms through my work.

I’ve been inspired to place my expression as an artist to the world I hope I share with those around me onto canvas, into designs and jewellery. Events worldwide, tumultuous, small, even personal all impact on art. In a febrile, changing world, I always try to hold onto the joy that while art fashions and tastes change with it, pieces of work remain brilliantly still, of their time and place, and for all time. All the exhibitions, and indeed sales I’ve made across the world and awards I’ve received across the world, are ongoing proof to me that in its deepest sense, art is an endless phenomenon, awesome to behold, open to all. It demands the utmost respect and skills, such as given to the artist!

As a painter I like to think of my style as visual poetry. I continually experiment with textures, colours and working with different media. I recently discovered dyed silver leaf, and the iridescent colours produced from mica, though my base for paintings remains acrylics.

My jewellery is inspired by the mystery of the natural world. I like to create fine jewellery using precious metals and gemstones. I find this a wonderful palette to dip into as my fine art background overlaps in style and form.

Some of my work is in the Private Collection at Goldsmiths Hall in London.
